  • Vaginal & Ulcer Cleansing: Provides effective support for yoni prakshalana (vaginal douching) and non-healing skin ulcers (vrina prakshalana).

  • Cooling & Anti-inflammatory: Balances Pitta and Kapha dosha, and reduces inflammation and heat sensations.

  • Digestive & Oral Health Support: Can be used internally for mild digestive inflammation, diarrhea, and as a gargle for oral ulcers.

⚗️ Usage & Dosage

  • External Use (Primary):

    • Prepare decoction: Mix 10–20 g of the churna with water by classical ratio (~16:1), boil to reduce, strain, and use lukewarm for washing wounds, ulcers, vaginal lavage, or as a sitz bath.

  • Internal Use (Consult Practitioner):

    • In select conditions like IBS or mouth ulcers, prepared decoction (50–100 ml) may be used as a mouth rinse or ingested, always under Ayurvedic supervision.

    • Preparation Frequency: Use freshly prepared kwatha each time; avoid stale preparation.

⚠️ Safety & Precautions

  • Use Under Supervision: Always consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before internal use.

  • Pregnancy & Lactation: Internal use is generally not recommended unless prescribed. External applications should be approved by a physician.

  • Avoid Overuse: Excessive use may cause dryness or constipation. Balance with oil-based anupana for sensitive Vata types.
