Phalatrikadi Kashaya - Revinto

Phalatrikadi Kashaya (Revinto) is a classical Ayurvedic decoction (herbal liquid extract) traditionally used in managing liver-related disorders, digestion issues, fever, anemia, and jaundice.

🌿 Ingredients & Preparation

It's composed of equal parts (typically 10 g each) of:

• Haritaki, Vibhitaki, Amalaki (Triphala),

• Patola (snake gourd),

• Kiratatikta (Swertia chirata),

• Guduchi, Vasa, Katuki, and Nimba (neem)

Therapeutic Benefits

• Balances Pitta and Kapha doshas, making it effective in treating Pitta-related conditions (acidity, indigestion).

• Supports digestion, reduces gastritis, dyspepsia, vomiting, and chronic fever.

• Traditionally recommended for jaundice (Kamala), anemia (Pandu), and liver support

• Some clinical studies suggest it lowers elevated Pitta, aids liver function, and can help in lifestyle-related disease management 

Dosage & Safety

• Typical dosage: 10–20 ml once or twice daily, before or after meals, for 2–4 months

• Use under supervision if pregnant, diabetic, or on other medications; caution advised as it may interact with allopathic drugs and blood sugar management 

• Side effects are minimal if used correctly; store in a cool, dry place and consume within 3 months of opening (shelf life ~3 years unopened)
