Swithrahara Lepa 5 Gm – Re‑Veda (10 Sachets)

Indications:

• Specifically formulated for Shwithra (Vitiligo/Leucoderma)

• Aims to promote repigmentation and support healthy skin tone 

Key Ingredients (Herbal Paste Formula)

Commonly include equal parts of:

• Bakuchi (Psoralea corylifolia, purified)

• Amlavethasa (fruit rind)

• Laksha (gum resin)

• Udumbara (Ficus racemosa root)

• Rasanjana (processed iron sulfide)

• Loha Churna (iron powder)

• Krishna Tila (black sesame)

• Gomutra (cow’s urine) – q.s. 

Benefits:

• Supports melanin stimulation to restore pigmentation in white skin patches

• Helps detoxify and nourish depigmented areas

• Traditionally used as part of combined therapy for Vitiligo 

Studies combining internal decoctions and topical lepa showed:

• 60% moderate improvement, 36% marked, and 3% mild in skin repigmentation among 30 patients

Dosage & Application:

1. Clean the affected skin thoroughly.

2. Scratch sachet contents to form a fine powder.

3. Mix with warm water (or recommended liquid) into a paste.

4. Apply a thin layer over white patches.

5. Leave on for ~20–30 minutes, or as directed by an Ayurvedic practitioner.

6. Rinse gently with lukewarm water.
