🌿 Ushirasav

Ushirasav is a classical Ayurvedic fermented tonic (Asav), specially formulated to address urinary issues, bleeding disorders, and systemic heat-related imbalances. It is known for its hemostatic, cooling, diuretic, Pitta‑pacifying, and blood‑purifying actions.

🌱 Key Ingredients

• Ushira (Vetiveria zizanioides) – cooling & anti-inflammatory

• Kamal Pushpa (Lotus, Nelumbo nucifera) – soothes urinary tract

• Gambhari (Gmelina arborea) – blood purifier

• Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) – astringent, helps control bleeding

• Parpatak (Fumaria officinalis) – supports urinary health.

Traditional formulations may also include Netrabala, Padmaka, Manjistha, Kushta, Draksha and others in specific proportions according to classical texts.

🔍 Therapeutic Uses

• Helps manage bleeding disorders such as hematuria, piles with bleeding, rectal or nose bleeding (Raktapitta).

• Soothes burning micturition caused by urinary tract inflammation, UTI, or stone irritation.

• Acts as a mild diuretic, promoting healthy urine flow and kidney cleansing.

• Effective in Pitta-dominant conditions such as skin disorders, early liver imbalance, diabetes, and worms as reported in Ayurvedic communities.

💊 Dosage & Administration

• Recommended dose: 4 teaspoonfuls (~20 ml) twice daily, after meals, or as advised by a qualified Ayurvedic physician.

• Do not exceed recommended dosage. Shake well before use and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight; keep out of reach of children.

⚠️ Safety & Precautions

• Contains no added alcohol, but is self-fermented—mild gastric discomfort may occur if taken on empty stomach. Best taken after meals.

• Pregnant or lactating women, and those with chronic medical conditions should consult a healthcare provider before use.

• Discontinue use if any allergic reaction or unexpected symptom appears.

• Avoid during excessive Pitta aggravation without supervision.
