Lohasavam is a classical Ayurvedic Asava (fermented formulation), with Loha (purified iron) as the main ingredient, along with a blend of herbs. It is especially indicated in anemia, liver disorders, digestive weakness, and general debility. The natural fermentation process produces a small quantity of self-generated alcohol, which enhances the extraction and absorption of active principles.
