Indications
According to Ayurvedic sources, Varanadi Ghritam is used for:

Disorders of the abdomen (Udararogas), particularly hernia and related conditions.

Flatulence, indigestion, and conditions of heaviness in the digestive tract.

Disorders involving excess Kapha and Vata dosha.
-
Reducing phlegm and fat deposition; aiding metabolic balance.
-
Inflammation / inflammatory disorders, possibly helpful in arthritis, headaches tied to Kapha imbalance.
Dosage
-
Typically, ¼ to ½ teaspoon with warm water or milk, or as prescribed by an Ayurvedic practitioner.

Can be used internally.

Sometimes used as part of Sneha therapies (oleation) in Panchakarma, or for internal oleation in disease management.
